Let it snow..

// December 14th, 2005 // 2 Comments » // General, Vents

let it snow! Ugh.. so we wake up this morning to find out that it has snowed yet again :mad_bb:, which only means that the normal 20 to 30 minute ride to work will take closer to 40 minutes, since it seems that as soon as the little flakey white stuff appears people completely forget how to drive. The range of bad drivers out there just amazes me, there are the people who are terrified by driving in the snow, so they go so slow that they cause accidents from people trying to get around them and then at the opposite end you have the people that have SUV’s and seem to think that just because they have an SUV they are invincible. Of course being an SUV owner I try not to be the typical, shall I say, bonehead. LOL, but there is always that one person out there that left for work late and feels that arriving on time is more important than arriving there safe. :neutral_bb:

OK enough about the drivers, and back to the snow. I know that it will be nice to have a white christmas, but this is going a little too far for my liking. Although the act of shoveling doesn’t bug us as much as it would have last year, just the thought of having to stay out in the cold to clear the snow is enough to drive you crazy and with our point system we can’t even come in to have a big cup of hot cocoa. :mad_dd: I know that there are more pressing issues for people to worry about than my dislike for the snow right now, but after all this is our website, :biggrin_dd: ah.. I feel much better now, shoot I almost forgot I have to shovel soon. :sad_pi:

Is it..

really December 13th already? Boy how times flies when you are having fun :biggrin_bb:. It feels like just yesterday we were soaking up the sun next to the pool in Cabo. Of course I could be feeling this way since the weather outside has been so “yucky” for lack of a better term. The snow that we keep getting is just driving me nuts. The forecast is calling for 4 to 6 more inches. Of course the scary part is not with the actual snow, but the fact that we are still 8 days away from the official start of winter. :eek_bb: Unfortunately for me I wait all year for the refreshing air and colors of fall only to be followed up by the brutal cold of winter.

I am very excited that we only have 3 & 1/2 days left of work before a much needed 2 week break from work. We don’t really have much planned right now other than getting some much needed rest. Hopefully we will be able to catch up on some of the movies that we want to see as well as spending quality time with our family and of course our pups. I’m sure that they will be thrilled to have us home all day..maybe we can actually get some stuff done around the house. :rolleyes_bb:
