for our site!! I’m so happy that I was able to get this template up and running without any major problems, well unless you count all the hours I spent coding everything, but I think it turned out pretty good for my first attempt at a WP template. Nothing too fancy, but now that I have the basic coding figured out I’m going to try to make a few more and offer them for download at my graphics site. Now all I have to do is work on the plug-ins and of course the photo gallery.

In other news.. congrats to Katie & Jon on the sale of their home and congrats to Jackie on the purchase of her 1st home!!

Woohoo!!! The photo gallery works with the new layout!! What great news for me!!

to everyone! :cool_bb: I know that I haven’t updated the site in a little while, but it’s really hard to do much of anything when you have 2 weeks to do absolutely nothing with. :biggrin_pi: Craig and I had an incredible time doing just that, it was nice to be off of the typical work schedule, but I think we are both happy to have some routine back as well as the space in the living room. As much as I love decorating the house for the holidays, it just seems that New Year’s day isn’t soon enough to be able to take everything down. The one thing that I “battle” with every year is the thought of taking what I think to be a still beautiful tree down, wrapping it in a plastic bag and dragging it to the curb and leaving it. Now I know that it’s just a tree, but how sad is it that the whole point of your life is to grow up, get chopped down, get netted, get thrown on top or into a vehicle, get decorated, get looked at, get undecorated, get taken down, and then get dumped. It just seems so harsh. :sad_pi: and since Craig doesn’t want a fake tree I’ll have to deal with the guilt every year. I know, you are thinking, you poor thing, what problems you have and that’s ok too. That’s why this is our blog, not yours. LOL :lol_pi:

So now that our house no longer glows from the lights in the windows or smells of pine, we’d like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. May this year bring everyone a touch of happiness, a moment of relaxation and more time to share with family and friends.
