I sure have been a busy little bee regarding the site this week. As most of you know I haven’t added new photos in a long.. long.. time.

Guess what?? I was finally able to get some uploaded.. YAY!! :clap_tb:. You will find the new photos in the 2006 Album, under Holidays, Others and Pups. I hope you like them. If you have any photos you would like to add please e-mail them to me. Oh yeah, I also made some updates to the Xmas Wishlists.

I know.. here it is already Tuesday on the week of the second edition of my “required” weekend update and still no update. It’s not that I haven’t been working on the site though, I spent the better part of the day yesterday deciding what to do with the site. I wanted to put a little festive swing on it without breaking the current structure too much. So I decided it would just be easiest to keep the current theme adding some new images and tweaking the style ever so slightly. I must say that I love the way it turned out. There is nothing better than finding the right combination of code and imagery. Unfortunately I can’t take credit for either of them. However I was the one the that found them. :clap_tb:, that has to count for something. With all of the layout stuff out of the way I can enjoy my free time just sitting around and doing nothing.. oh wait. I still have to write the weekend update. Hmm.. I just did.. you saw it right.. weekend update, there I wrote it again. :lol_tb: You know what I just realized this isn’t supposed to be the second edition, this is supposed to be the third edition.. oh shoot, I already skipped a week. To PS3 or not to PS3

Another story in the adventures of the true gadget freak that we all know & love. You know who I’m talking about, right??… my lovely hubby. It’s amazing how much he is drawn in by the publicity of new gadgets. Once he heard that Circuit City was going to be holding a special midnight sale of the PS3 he decided that it would be a good idea for him to get in line for it. Well, I suppose it wouldn’t be so bad if you were living in Florida or California, but Illinois this time of year is not exactly the right place to be waiting for hours and hours to get some goofy piece of electronics. He was determined to brave it out though, better than me I suppose, I’d rather work than stand outside in the cold for hours. Call me crazy but I like having the feeling in my feet and hands. Unfortunately for him there was already a line when he got there at 6:30, but he figured that he would hang around to see what his chance were. As the day went on he found out that the one person standing a few feet in front of them was actually holding a spot for him and his 3 buddies. By 3:30 he decided that he was just too far back in line that it wasn’t worth waiting another 6 and a half hours to get a voucher to wait another 2 hours to buy it, so he threw in the towel and got his frozen limbs into the warmth of his car. He was disappointed, but felt better when he found out this morning that they only had 95 units to sell so he wouldn’t of had much of a chance being 117 in line. I still say that the Xbox 360 & the Wii should be good enough for his gaming needs, but who am I.

Weekend Update

Since it usually takes me forever to post stuff, I have decided to try to “require” myself to post an update every week of what happened on our weekends. I’m sure that some will be boring, some will be funny, but most of all they will be filled with lots of love.. :grin1_ee:. Without further ado, here is this week’s update.

Last week was a very confusing week for us, Craig had training all week, so he was working my hours and since the guy that has his position on my school was in training as well I had to work his hours. I usually like working the early hours so I can drive with Craig, but driving by yourself that early in the morning is rather blah. The week was supposed to be even longer for Craig because they wanted him to go in on Saturday to work on some network stuff, but as luck would have it they were able to do it without him. All in all the week went pretty smooth considering the schedule changes. It only got a tad shuffled when we had to do our normal Friday night routine of grocery shopping and pizza. Fortunately Craig was able to get out of class early so we were still able to get everything done. Of course the weather was not being very nice. It was cold, windy and raining. :blink_tb: (more…)
