It’s almost February?

Current Mood:Confused emoticon Confused

It really is amazing how fast time flies when you are a kid. I remember how it always seemed to take forever for the summer to get here, hating every day of school, counting the days until summer break and now it gets here too fast. Although with the way the weather has been I am looking forward to the summer.

On a side note, Craig & I have another obsession, World of Warcraft is not the only thing occupying all of our time. I know as hard as that is to believe there is something else and it’s called Rockband. Who knew that a game about playing in a band would be so much fun?? NOT me that’s for sure. I was against getting GH3 or Rockband, thinking that it would sit around and collect dust like most of the “got to have” items that we have purchased, but I was so wrong. Our alter egos :grin2_ee:, Kara and Craig (How original, LOL.) look forward to band practice with Starr and Stripe, aka Katie & Jon. We spend hours playing and find it hard to say no to “just one more song”. I never thought we would spend as much time playing it as we do. Craig & I were excited last night when we unlocked Dani California, only to find out that we would only complete 30% of the song before being “boo’d” off the stage. Ah.. good times. :biggrin_wp:

Home Sweet Home?

This weekend was the visit of the last of 6 contractors to complete work from our 30 day inspection. Now you might be saying to yourself “30 days? hmm.. I thought they moved in at the end of August” and you would be correct. Unfortunately for us our builder seems to think that everyone has the ability to just take a day off of work to sit around the house and wait for someone to come over only to find out that it’s “too cold” for them to come out or that they forgot to schedule the appointment. Anyway, we decided to wait until we had time off to schedule the appointments.

Even worse than the fact that we waited until January to have the work done is the fact that had our Quality Assurance guy been any good at this job most of the stuff could have been taken care of before we even moved into the house. There’s nothing more embarassing than having someone come out to check “the broken plug” only to find out that whoever did the work failed to screw it in. Of course my favorite was having someone come out to show us that the draft we were getting from our windows was because we hadn’t shut them correctly, apparently the story that we were told of “you just have to shut them 2 or 3 times to get them to close” was not true.

Ugh.. we are happy that the items that we found after the inspection are now fixed as well. Now we’ll have to start writing stuff down so we’ll remember it for the 11 month inspection in August.

1. Under what conditions can you have the perfect nap?
She said: Give me a nice comfy couch, a fluffy pillow and I’m good to go.
He said:

2. Under what conditions can you let most of your guard down?
She said: When I’m with my hubby or I suppose a few drinks could do the trip as well.
He said:

3. Under what conditions can you do your best writing?
She said: I’m not sure I’m ever good at writing.
He said:

4. Under what conditions would you give away everything you own?
She said: If we had just won the lottery and decided to travel the world.
He said:

5. Under what conditions would you kiss a stranger?
She said: NEVER, well maybe on a dare… nope, never!
He said:
