to Justin and the other members of The Astros bowling team!! They won the State Bowling Tournament in the Bantam Mixed Division in Peru, Illinois this past weekend with a score of 2369. I should probably get some tips from him because I can’t bowl at all, well maybe on the Wii. Congratulations on your win!!

Are you kidding?

I am going to try as much as I can to limit myself from rambling in this post, but I offer no guarantees, so read at your own risk of complete and udder boredom. This past Saturday Craig & I went out to dinner with Katie & Jon before a night of “band practice”. After a bit of undecision it was agreed to go to a burger place, whom will remain nameless. Just like any other place in our area there was a wait of 25+ minutes. It wasn’t until we got to the table that the “fun” started.

Strike 1: After waiting a few minutes for the basket of fries we had ordered when we were seated we noticed our waitress giving a basket to a table behind us (whom would sit with looks of “did u order this” on their face as they ate our fries) as she gathered around the table across from us to sing “happy b-day” to a 2 year old. When asked about the fries the waitress replies “I gave them to the other table”, but yet didn’t bring us a basket when she realized her error. Maybe she thought we had forgotten about them. (more…)

Here’s it is almost the end of yet another month and still no updating on our blog. It’s rather sad to think that someone with as much free time as I have that this doesn’t get updated more regularly, but I guess on the other hand we don’t lead an extravagent life so there really hasn’t been much going on. If we aren’t working we are playing something on the computer, playing RockBand, or watching TV. I suppose if it was warmer we could at least be going on walks around the neighborhood, but there is no way the dogs would have any of that with this weather. We are looking forward to spring and are already thinking about what we will need to do to get landscaping done. I’m sure that we will do most of the work ourselves with a bit of help from mom and Phil, but we really need to think about what items we would like to have and where. All I know for sure is that I’d love to encorporate roses and lilacs into the mix.. ooh and carnations. Can those grow in Illinois?? hmm I’ll have to Google that. If anyone has any ideas for plants or shrubs that don’t require a green thumb let me know.
