Merry Christmas . .

and all of that good stuff. I have been so busy with RL stuff that I haven’t had much time to be crafty. I do have a couple of gift card holders that I made for Christmas that I am hoping to have posted soon. I was really thinking that 2009 was going to be the year that I would actually find the time to make birthday cards for my family and friends. The tricky part of that is to get them mailed out as well. I usually end up making or buying them, but then completely forget to send them out. Wish me luck!
Apparently Santa felt that I was a good girl this year because for Christmas I received a shiny new digital camera. I had read a few articles online about how great the Canon PowerShot SX10 IS was, so I figured I would put it on my wishlist. I also got a Digital Photography for Dummies book. Here’s hoping that I will be able to set aside some quality time to figure out all of the functions of my new camera.
Every year we go through the “first snow of the year drive”, which apparently requires people to relearn how to drive in the lovely white mess, but yet we are always so surprised when it happens. I mean it snows every year, that’s not new. Of course I was just a spectator on the drive this morning. Poor Craig was so frustrated, it sure would have been nice to just stay at home. Well at least it’s the holiday season. That should count for something. Have a great week.
