A new year

and I’m still a slacker. I know I sound like a broken record, but I wish that I was able to post every day or at least when things were happening. It’s funny to me that when there is something to write about I never seem to find the time to sit down & journal it, and when I do have the time it’s because nothing is going on. Go figure.
As usual a lot has happened since I last wrote. Craig & I used some vacation days to get two weeks off during winter break. It was great to have the time off. Unfortunately we didn’t really feel too rested when we went back to work. While we were on break our youngest Pug, Savannah had to go in for surgery to have bladder stones removed. All the worrying aside she is doing much better now and was given the all clear to return to normal “puppy antics”. Kacey was not a bit happy that she wasn’t able to play for two weeks. Unfortunately Savannah will now require a special diet as well as routine trips to the vet to make sure they don’t come back. On a sad note Kirk & Amy found out that their cat Cleo had cancer. She got really sick and they had to make the decision to put her at peace. She will be missed.
We also seem to be having one of the yuckiest winters in a long time, lots of snow and of course lots of cold. It is supposed to be a high of 10 today. Luckily our snow thrower is working great! We are so looking forward to summer.
