This past week we headed to Tampa to continue searching for the perfect retirement location. It was our first time on the Gulf side of Florida and we were very excited to see what it offered. We are lucky enough to have a friend that lives in the area that was able to give us a good comparison of towns in Florida to towns in Chicago. It really helped us determine where to start our journey. The downfalls of the trip were that we spent a lot of time in the rental car and it rained… a lot!
